Recruitment of part-time student helpers (multiple positions)
The Faculty of Education at HKU is recruiting a pool of talents to undertake various short-term research duties relating to a project on Digital Citizenship directed by Professor Nancy Law.
Description:We are looking for several student helpers to work on various tasks including (but not limited to) transcript writing, translation of Chinese to English, on-site data collection, and data coding. Tasks will be assigned based on applicants' expertise. It is possible to allow applicants to work from home depending on the task nature.
Requirements:undergraduate or master's students of HKU equipped with one or more of the following skills are welcome to apply.
- Ability to understand and type in spoken Cantonese
- Proficiency in Cantonese, written Chinese and English
- Basic statistic knowledge, preferably skilled in SPSS
- Experience in teaching at local primary or secondary schools
- Great attention to detail, and being prudent and responsible
Period of work: from the earliest possible date to February 2019 (with the possibility of renewal)
Employment condition: to be employed on an hourly basis with an hourly rate of HK$60.00 for undergraduate students, and HK$99.00 for postgraduate students.
